Frank A. Palumbo Civil War Collection
Scope and Contents
The collection includes 36 rare lithographs, photos, paintings, rifles, revolvers, mini balls, a travel trunk collection, uniforms, and a doctor’s amputation kit. Most of collection is on loan to the Kenosha Civil War Museum. The remainder of the collection housed in the Staubitz Archives Reading Room contains monographs and serials.

Custodial History
The collection traveled to the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry and around the country before coming to Carthage. The majority of the collection is currently on loan to the Kenosha Civil War Museum.
