Abstract

This collection contains 6 scrapbooks compiled by Margaret Zimmerman during her four years at Carthage College, 1945-1949. The six scrapbooks in this collection contain photographs, newspaper clippings, program brochures, dance cards, personal notes, and other types of memorabilia.

Margaret Zimmerman came from Blandinsville, IL to attend Carthage College in 1945. She graduated from Carthage in 1949 with a BA. She later married J. Lewis and moved to Tennessee, IL.

Accruals and Additions

Five scrapbooks were donated by Dorothy Urquhart in 2010 and were transferred to the archives via the College Relations office. The remaining scrapbook (1947-1948) was found on the archives shelves while processing the other scrapbooks. No donor information was attached to the scrapbook found in the archives.
