Scope and Contents
Within this collection, there are 13 copies of The Indian newspaper containing artwork from Warren Wandrey, some of them being in better condition than others. There are nine original artworks drawn on high quality paper. There is also a copy of The Carthage College Alumnus, a homecoming official program, a Carthage Redmen adhesive sticker, a bulletin from the C Club/Glee Club musicale, the Carthage College Handbook for Students, as well as a number of itineraries from the Carthage College Choir.

Biographical or Historical Information
Warren H. Wandrey attended Carthage College from 1947 until he graduated in 1950, when he received his BA. In 1949 and 1950, he was the cartoonist for the Carthage Rambler yearbook and The Indian newspaper. Warren sang Baritone in the Carthage College Choir. Warren dated and eventually married Betty, who is mentioned in almost every artwork he drew.

Abstract
Collection consists of partly handouts containing the Carthage College Choir itineraries from 1949 until 1951. The other part of the collection contains copies of The Indian that display cartoons drawn by Warren Wandrey as well as some of his original prints.
Arrangement Note
The collection is arranged in three series: bulletins and handouts arranged chronologically, copies of newspapers arranged chronologically, and original works arranged alphabetically.

Method of Acquisition
The collection was acquired by Sarah J. Harris, Class of 1987, from Warren and Betty Wandrey. The Wandreys donated the entire collection to the Staubitz Archives in 2013. Additional donations to the collection were made in 2014 by the Wandrey family, as well as an unknown donor, who donated a number of original pieces and clippings.
