Scope and Contents

Painting A painting depicting the crest of the Greek organization, Phi Kappa Sigma. The upper right corner has a yellow hand holding what appears to be several keys, pointing to a shape that appears to resemble the Star of David. The upper left corner has the letters MDCCCCL within a circle, both in black ink over gold paint. The bottom left corner has a golden object that appears to resemble a lamp, depicted over black paint. The lower right corner has a black symbol over gold paint. Below the crest is a furling ribbon with the words: “Stellis Aequus Durando” written on it. The Greek letters of the organization are written in black paint below the crest, along with the words: “Gamma Gamma 1984,” as well as a cursive “F.” Dimensions: N/A Artist: Unknown Donor: Unknown Johnson Hall Fourth Floor, Hallway
