Untitled No. 10, [06-05-17]
Scope and Contents
Painting An abstracted painting, composed on canvas and hung on the northern staircase of the Johnson Center. Three-fourths of the painting is composed of swaths of blue paint, with some splashes of faded red paint on the far right side of the piece. At the top of the piece is a triangular-like swath of yellow paint, some of which appears to be dripping down over the canvas. The triangular yellow swath of paint is overlaid with another triangular-like swath of red paint. Underneath these shapes is a large swath in the canvas, and it appears to have been partially ripped open, with each end of the rip highlighted with large splotches of red paint. At the very top, are swaths of faded green paint that appear to have been splattered over the canvas. Dimensions: TBA Donor: Unknown Johnson Arts Center 2nd Floor, Stairway
