Catch a Wave, 1981
Scope and Contents
Print A print made up of two images. The first image is a thin strip of ink, containing the images of a blue wave at the bottom, a band of green ink taking up the majority of the image, a band of blue ink at the very top, and three white lines of ink running across the middle. The second, larger image has a dark brown shape at the far left, appearing to be the profile image of a person’s face. Further to the right are blue waves at the bottom, a white bench whose back faces the viewer, a green lawn and a light blue sky. In front of the bench, is a long brown object, partially obscured by the bench. One part of the object appears to be an outstretched human arm, while the other part appears to be a stretched human leg. 22 (3/8)” x 15.5” Printed by: Roxanne S. Vaitkus Donated by: Roxanne S.
