Untitled No. 282, 1995
Scope and Contents
Intaglio Print A print depicting a human face amid several figures and objects. Flanking either side of the face are two rocket-shaped cages, with a hand poking out from the left cage, and the frowning face of a man in the right cage. The two cages are connected by a rod, and extending from the rod is a small oval with a black rectangle; from the oval extend four rods with black stripes, and black triangles and rectangles. The human face lacks a nose and a mouth, and it wears black earrings. On its forehead appears a cartoonish head wearing a pointed hat. Two other people wearing pointy hats can also be seen on the human face; one on its right cheek, and the other next to its left eye, holding up a letter. 13" x 10" Printed by: Chloe Steinbert Donated by: Chloe Steinbert Johnson Arts Center 2nd Floor, Room 229 [Teaching Tool; Internal Use Only]
